STOCK KEEPER

SHIFT HOURS: Monday- Saturday (Saturdays are optional/overtime)

• 2nd shift (2PM-10:30PM)($19.00/HR) MONDAY-SATURDAY (SATURDAYS ARE OVERTIME/OPTIONAL)

LOCATION: Chesterfield, MO

PAID WEEKLY

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Resume upon applying
• Steel toe boots
• 1-2 years of inventory control/date entry/packing/organizing experience 

Westside Personnel is a staffing service located in Fenton, that offers positions at clients looking for temporary and temp to hire placements. Our client located in Chesterfield, are looking for individuals to fill a 1st shift Monday-Saturday stock keeper position. You will be a probationary employee with possible permanent hire on with excellent attendance, positive attitude and good work performance after 16 weeks.

Duties:

• Pull parts for machine shop and work orders using pick list
• Pick, pack, and stage work orders for assembly operation
• Receive parts in from outside vendors according to ISO and other department procedures
• Operate & maintain automated carousel/vertical parts storage system
• Protect parts as required and deliver to the next work center
• Stock in-house, make and vendor receipt parts: verify quantities, check for shortages and complete procedure as required
• Pull parts for customer orders and deliver to shipping and receiving department
• Perform cycle counts as required
• Process material return and request forms and IRAD replacement requests as needed
• Maintain area in a clean and orderly fashion

Qualifications/Skills:

• High attention to detail, team player and good communication skills
• Must obtain Mark Andy certification for: Forklift, Raymond order picker, counterbalance forklift, right angle picker, power pallet jack and overhead crane
• Regular attendance is a necessary and essential function of the position
• High School Degree or equivalent
• 6 months stock keeping and/or inventory experience

Work Environment: Moderate to frequent exposure to shop environment; may be exposed to dust, odors, oils, fumes, chemicals, noise, and moving parts. Work typically requires the usage of PPE and can require work on the facility's production floor or customer's production environment.

Physical Demands: Regularly required to sit, stand, bend, reach, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl and move about facility and/or customer's facilities. Frequent lifting up to 50lbs.
