Job duties:
- Selecting and shipping customer orders accurately and in the timeframes required
- Checking goods received against purchase orders or invoices
- Preparing and maintains records of merchandise received and shipped
- Putting stock away in the warehouse or preparing for shipment
- Managing inventory of products stored in the warehouse; ensuring inventory accuracy
- Working with carriers to schedule pickups of shipments to customers and vendors
- Updating computer system with shipping/receiving activity and managing inventory locations
- Ensuring packages are on time and accurate for customer shipments
- Ensure products are packaged properly and professionally, exercising due care to mitigate the possibility of damage during shipment
- Maintain a clean, organized and safe working environment
- Light assembly of products.
- Occasional building maintenance tasks, like changing light bulbs, etc.
Skills / Abilities:
- Excellent communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office programs such as Outlook, Excel, Etc.
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs., unassisted
- Climbing rolling warehouse ladders using proper technique <10’
- Able to follow written and/or verbal instruction
- work both as a member of a team and independently
Shift
1st Shift - Monday-Friday 7:30 am to 4:30 pm
