Job Description: Injection Mold Operator
Overview: We are seeking a skilled Injection Mold Operator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in plastics injection molding and possess the mechanical knowledge necessary to operate and maintain various machinery. This role is critical in ensuring the production of high-quality plastic components while adhering to safety and efficiency standards.
Duties:
- Operate and monitor injection molding machines to produce plastic parts according to specifications.
- Conduct quality inspections using precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers to ensure product standards are met.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on injection molding equipment, including programmable logic controllers.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize production processes and implement lean manufacturing practices.
- Utilize hand tools and machinery, including CNC lathe, press brake machine, and fabrication equipment, for setup and adjustments.
- Handle materials efficiently, ensuring proper storage and organization within the warehouse environment.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area, adhering to all safety protocols.
Experience:
- Proven experience in plastics injection molding or related manufacturing processes is preferred.
- Familiarity with quality inspection techniques and precision measuring instruments.
- Experience operating forklifts and other material handling equipment is a plus.
- Knowledge of machining processes, including CNC operations, is beneficial.
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to production tasks.
- Previous experience in a warehouse setting or lean manufacturing environment is advantageous.

Shift: 1st shift 7 am to 3 pm
3rd shift 11 pm to 7 am
